Tourists who want to discover real desert tradition and culture, such as songs, legends and stories should come to our place as the locals are very happy to share their knowledge with foreigners. It is also a peaceful place to meditate and to have this constant blue sky with the most marvelous sunrise and sunset is enough to give you a reason to come & stay with us.
Pabu ki Dhani is our home place for an ethical form of tourism. The village is located in a peaceful location within the Thar desert, 28 kms away from the Jaisalmer city.
You are invited to come and share the daily life of a traditional desert farmer by:
- Cooking your food on a real fire
- Taking care of animals (camels, goats)
- Observing wild animals and their footprints
- Having dinner around the fire while listening to great desert songs
Excursions off the beaten tracks to visit artisans in nearby villages as well as camel rides to discover part of the desert and people living in can also be organised. To learn about artcraft and music of the tribal people is also possible.
